ARRA - Stimulus Funds

At Warner Education,LLC,  we understand the unique challenges faced by today’s schools and districts needing to utilize the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding. Funding needs to be allocated appropriately, expeditiously, and with accountability.  Most, importantly, funding needs to support research proven methods that show strong, immediate improvements in overall achievement and closing the achievement gap. We focus upon improving instruction and our methods are showing, with follow-up, long term change in the effectiveness of teachers in the classroom.

Top recipients of the funding include: Title I, Title II, Title III, IDEA, and Early Childhood.

STELLAR (Strategies for Teaching English Language Learners for Academic Results)  and ALLI (Academic Language and Literacy Initiative) meet the requirements of ARRA funds in the following ways:

• Improve student achievement and teacher effectiveness
• Professional development materials that supplement training courses
• Sustainable results and ongoing usability in subsequent years beyond
  purchase
• Close the achievement gap
• Reaching the Standards/Assessable Results
• Continuous Improvement from Pre-K to 12

The habits of STELLAR have  strong theoretical and research support by
current research in academic language and literacy learning. The work of
Marzano, Echevarria, Short & Vogt, Jamentz, Hunter, Barone, Templeton
and others all support the types of strategies shared in STELLAR
workshops. Research is currently being done with long term research
projects across the country specifically with STELLAR training.
